Helen Darroch is a Cape Town based artist, working in oils and mixed media. Her art style is mainly realism, however she paints whatever she feels like whether it be portraiture, landscapes, seascapes and wild life.  

Helen is inspired by nature as well as interesting subjects, from photos and then adapts it to what she sees. Helen did architectural drafting and then moved on to interior design, having a good understanding of scale and colours. 

Helen's art has sold and has home in England, Australia and New Zealand, as well as in South Africa.
